Never too Early to Make River Lighting Parade Reservations

It’s never too early to make reservations for the annual River Lighting Parade, which will be Nov. 27 this year.

Here are several restaurants that are offering special deals on seats for the parade as well as dinner.

  • Paesanos Riverwalk, 111 E. Crockett St. – Several packages are available. For $80 a person, reserve river-front dinner and parade seat. For $58.95 a person, reserve inside seating with a chair for viewing, the outside river patio or the outside covered terrace.  Dinner includes appetizer, salad, numerous entree choices (including stuffed Pacific snapper, grilled prime rib-eye and Shrimp Paesano) and dessert. Coffee, tea and soft drinks included. Tax and 20-percent tip added to price of each person.
  • Rio Rio Cantina, 421 E. Commerce St.  – The restaurant is offering a buffet dinner for $64.81 per person all inclusive or $32.41 per child, ages 9 and younger. Patrons have a choice of inside dining with a parade chair; dining and viewing the parade from a table on the street-level balcony; or dining and viewing the parade from a table on the river-level covered patio. The buffet includes build-your-own fajita station, an enchilada station, a salad station and an appetizer station. Tea and soft drinks included.
  • Zuni Grill, 223 Losoya St. – A multi-course dinner is planned for $39.95 a person. Patrons can choose inside dining with parade chair on river patio; outside river patio table for dining and parade viewing; and dining inside second level loft with a parade chair on loft balcony. Tax and 20 percent tip added to the cost of each person. Entrée options include herb-crusted tenderloin, chicken chipotle cordon bleu, portobello fajitas and baked stuffed shrimp. Children’s menu for those ages 9 and younger for $19.95.
