Visions of Gingerbread Houses

Visions of Gingerbread Houses

GingerbreadHouses1At the Hyatt Hill Country Resort, the lobby is filled with visions of gingerbread houses made by various people on the staff. The brightly colored parade of homes includes the Alamo with a walkway of slivered almonds, a Polynesian paradise and others frosted with coconut snow. Dr. Seuss appears to have inspired one or two.

Gumdrops, Red Hot candies, cereal, chocolate disks, jelly beans and Twizzlers are among the various pieces incorporated into the elaborate designs. The houses are on view throughout the Christmas season at the resort, 9800 Hyatt Resort Drive.
