The chef Chris Spencer has only gotten better since leaving Le Reve. He is doing great things in the kitchen!
Why the Fig Tree is not busier only reminds me of the days Le Reve was not booked every night. That’s San Antonio. Lastly, consider that the Fig Tree has one of the top three views of the River Walk

    • Hi Richard, I agree, Chris is doing good things and has a built a great team there as well. Restaurant head Moe Lazri gets not a little credit for his guidance and his own culinary expertise. BW

I agree, Moe is a great guy and he deserves more credit. Gigi and I love to dine on the second floor of the Fig Tree overseeing the Riverwalk

    • I’ve always thought that the table for two, second floor, overlooking the river, is one of the most romantic places to dine in S.A. Great setting! BW
