Riedel wine glasses are produced by the generations-old, family-owned glass-making company in Austria. The patriarch of that family is Georg Riedel, who will be at MAX’s Wine Dive in Austin Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
This private tasting gives you a bit of the history of Riedel (pronounced REE-dul) glass making, as well as an opportunity to taste select wines from these graceful, varietal specific glasses. Georg Riedel will discuss as well as demonstrate the glassware, letting you experience for yourself the difference that the glassware can make.
Tickets are $100 per person, but attendees will take home a tasting set of four Riedel “Vitis” series stemware, a $170 value.
