Texas de Brazil is opening its doors tonight. The all-you-can-eat Brazilian-style steakhouse is in on the main floor of the old Kress Building at 313 E. Houston St.
You’ll find gauchos bearing skewers of beef, lamb, pork, chicken and sausage, all in an elegant setting. At the center of the dining area is the massive salad bar, which wasn’t fully stocked during Monday’s soft opening. But this popular feature is expected to feature everything from Brazilian hearts of palm and shrimp salad to sautéed mushrooms and steamed asparagus.
You’ll also find a wine aerialist performing gymnastics as she fetches bottles of wine for the customers. This is the first Texas de Brazil in the state to showcase the aerialists. For a preview, watch Katie Kasper in the video below.
Hours are 5-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 5-10:30 p.m. Friday, 4:30-10:30 p.m. Saturday and 4-9 p.m. Sunday.
