Q. Where can I find Van Gogh’s Dutch Chocolate Vodka?

— Lori

A. For the drinker who wants a silky chocolate martini, there Van Gogh’s Dutch Chocolate Vodka, which is said to smell and taste exactly what the name implies, rich chocolate.

The drink can be found at Gabriel’s Superstore, 1309 N. Loop 1604 W. The cost is $24.69 for cash or $25.99 on a credit card.

Once you’ve bought that bottle, here are two cocktail recipes from the maker’s website.

1 ounce heavy cream

Mix Van Gogh’s Dutch Chocolate Vodka, hazelnut liqueur and cream in an ice-filled shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Serve.

Makes 1 cocktail.

Or you can create your own using everything from chocolate syrup to mint liqueur. There’s even a chocolate bitters out there for those who don’t want their cocktail too sweet.
