Pike’s Place Is Closing

Pike’s Place Restaurant, 167 Panther Ridge, Pipe Creek, is closing Sept. 26.

“Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be renewing our lease. We will be closing the doors,” says an email from owners Kurt and Suzanne Pike, who have worked at a host of San Antonio’s finest restaurants in the past, including the Lodge Restaurant of Castle Hills, Le Rêve and more.

The Pikes would like to find a new home for their restaurant, which was known for its great food in a rustic setting. “We are hoping to relocate but have not found a new home as of yet,” they write.

We’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear something.

Sorry to see them close, and a bit of guilt as well for not having gone back again after having an excellent first-impression meal there. The distance from SA must have been a big factor..

  2. Sorry to hear about this although the distance from ANYWHERE is one
of the reasons I only went twice… both times had an excellent
lunch. Their chef made the best “deep fried cheesy grits cake” appetizer I’ve ever eaten. Hope to find them at a new location soon.
