Tejas Steakhouse, 401 Obst Road, Bulverde, is presenting its first Tejas Social Club at 7 p.m. this Wednesday with a five-course dinner. The steakhouse with the nearby rodeo is starting with monthly events and “would love to make it a weekly happening,” it says on its website.
The dinner begins with Creamy Tomato Bisque, followed by fresh field greens tossed with sliced strawberries, candied pecans, gorgonzola cheese and light balsamic vinaigrette. Shrimp cocktail precedes a choice of beef tenderloin with grilled asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes finished with a black pepper cream sauce or grilled chicken tossed with fettuccine pasta, sliced asparagus, and cherry tomatoes with a creamy black pepper lemon Alfredo sauce. Dessert is either vanilla bean crème brulee with fresh strawberries or espresso chocolate mousse with mascarpone whipped cream.
