The Devil Had Something to Do with Deviled Delights

For our last Halloween horror from Kathy Casey’s “Retro Food Fiascos” we offer a two-fer. Here is an appetizer so easy to make yet so disgusting that you have to wonder how anyone could have ever made this. And we serve it with a beverage that is guaranteed to make you afraid, very afraid.

Enjoy. And may none of these dishes be served to you this Halloween.

Deviled Delights

In the palm of your hand, pat out a little Deviled Ham, mold it around a stuffed olive, top with parsley sprigs, and spike it with a toothpick. Delightful!

Tomato Buttermilk Pickup

2 cups tomato juice, chilled
Salt, to taste
4 cups cold buttermilk

Combine tomato juice, salt and buttermilk and mix well.

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
