Texas Wine Month Trail, Oct. 1-31

Escape to the Texas Hill Country — and October is a good time to do it!

Taste these wine, or taste wines from the barrels at Becker Hill Country Vineyards during Oct. events.

Texas Hill Country Wineries hosts the Texas Wine Month Trail!  During October, for just $20 you can visit participating wineries to taste award-winning wines and tour their beautiful facilities, all in celebration of  Texas wine.

All 32 member wineries, all 31 days, will feature discounts and complimentary tastings. Also, the wineries will be supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month with donations.

Your ticket gets you between 1 (minimum) and up to 3 complimentary tastes at all 32 wineries and plus a 15 percent discount on three bottle purchases.

October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. With a number of Texas Hill Country Wineries, Texas Wine Industry members and Texas Wine fans have been affected by this disease, so the wineries will be giving back. Five dollars of each ticket sold for the Texas Wine Month Trail goes straight to breast cancer screening, treatment and education locally. If available, wineries will be featuring their pink wines for trail tastings throughout the month.

Also in October: A Month of Sundays Barrel and Tank Tasting

Join participating winery owners and winemakers in the winery for exclusive barrel and tank tastings paired perfectly with amuse bouche samplings. These events take place on all four Sundays in October — Oct.  7, 14, 21 and 28.
Join the 17 participating Texas Hill Country wineries in their barrel rooms and cellars with the winemakers and owners for a taste of something special.  Each winery will taste barrel, tank, library or specialty wines.

Each winery will pair their wines with foods they feel match well to their products, from charcuterie and cheese to chocolate truffles. This is your opportunity to discuss the future of the wine industry in the Texas Hill Country with winemakers and owners. Or, join a wine club.
