Taste of the River Walk Adds Houston Street Focus

Taste of the River Walk begins Tuesday, Sept. 11, with a special focus this year on Houston Street.

Tuesday begins with a Taste of Houston Street at  Barron’s in the Sheraton Gunter hotel, which, according to a Facebook page, “you will get “little” taste of our lunch pasta station and famous freshly baked brownies.”

According to the event’s website, “Ticket holders enjoy sampling culinary offerings from participating establishments, over a 3-day period. Limited tickets available. Group discounts for 6 or more tickets. Call 210-227-4262 for pricing. THIS EVENT WILL SELL OUT. Purchase a ticket for any night and get access to an exclusive PRIVATE Party on Thursday, September 13th from 8:30pm-10:30pm at the Hilton Palacio del Rio- 5th Floor Terrace Garden. Party goers will enjoy LIVE music and Drink Specials all night at The Most Interesting Party on the River Walk.”

And remember, Tuesday night brings free parking to city garages.
