The spirit of the season is upon us, and a number of restaurants are responding with Toys for Tots drives and other charitable collections.
The folks at McDonald’s heeded the call before Thanksgiving.
In response to an emergency request from Haven for Hope, the Greater San Antonio Area McDonald’s co-op recently donated 500 blankets to the many homeless the organization cares for.
But they’re not finished. The donation is only half of the amount that the local owner/operators will be donating to Haven for Hope. The remaining 500 blankets will be donated this month.
