Las Canarias at La Mansion del Rio, 112 College St., will present the wines of Napa, California, favorite, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars in a dinner set for Aug. 14.
The meal begins with Lemongrass-Poached Lobster, Pickled Papaya and Mustard Seed Relish with Curried Sweet Potato Nage and Stag’s Leap Sauvignon Blanc, followed by Fennel Flower Dusted Ono Spicy Petite Salad with White Chocolate Balsamic Vinaigrette and Stag’s Leap KARIA Chardonnay.
Cocoa-Espresso Braised Lamb with Cipollini Wilted Greens and Port-Shallot Reduction will be paired with Stag’s Leap Hands of Time Red Blend. Slow-Roasted Buffalo Tenderloin Fennel, Salsify and Celery Root Ragout with Velour Jus will be served with Stag’s Leap Fay Cabernet Sauvignon.
Dessert is Bourbon Grilled Peach Olive Oil Cake with Salted Almond Streusel and Buttermilk Ice Cream with Stag’s Leap Artemis Cabernet.
